Dovilė Kavaliauskienė elected as a member of the EPSO-G board

Dovilė Kavaliauskienė, Head of the Legal and Personnel Group of the Ministry of Energy, has been elected as a member of the new energy company group EPSO-G board. D. Kavaliauskienė will serve on the board until the end of the term of the current board – March 24, 2027.

“I am pleased that we have a fully-composed EPSO-G board, the majority of which, in accordance with the principles of good governance, consists of independent members. The new member Dovilė was selected by the shareholder as responsible for the supervision of the energy market, regulation and transmission activities, as well as organisational development and human resources management,” says Robertas Vyšniauskas, Chairman of the EPSO-G board.

D. Kavaliauskienė also serves on the Supervisory Board and the Remuneration and Nomination Committee of KN Energies.

Along with Dovilė Kavaliauskienė, the EPSO-G Board is composed of three independent members: Rasa Balevičienė, Robertas Vyšniauskas and Liudas Liutkevičius, and a member of the Board delegated by the Ministry of Energy, Dainius Bražiūnas.

In accordance with the good governance practices of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the majority of EPSO-G Board members are independent members. Applying this corporate governance model, which is most commonly used in Northern European countries, the organisational and management structure of EPSO-G Group companies complies with high levels of accountability and good governance practices.

The EPSO-G group consists of the management company EPSO-G and six directly owned subsidiaries - Amber Grid, Baltpool, Energy cells, EPSO-G Invest, Litgrid and Tetas. EPSO-G and its Group companies also hold shares in GET Baltic, Rheinmetall Defence Lietuva, Baltic RCC OÜ and TSO Holding AS. The rights and obligations of the sole shareholder of EPSO-G are exercised by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania.
