Mindaugas Keizeris to become Litgrid Board member

On Thursday, the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders elected the energy transmission and exchange group EPSO-G CEO Mindaugas Keizeris to the position of the Board member of the Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator Litgrid.

M. Keizeris was elected as the parent company’s representative the Board of Litgrid until expiry of its term of office in 2024. He replaced the former chair of the Board Algirdas Juozaponis, who decided to leave EPSO-G group of companies and to resign as CFO of EPSO-G from January.

The new Chair of the Board will be elected by Litgrid’s Board at its next meeting.

From August 2022, M. Keizeris has been the CEO of EPSO-G, before that he had worked for 10 years in the companies of Lietuvos Energija (currently Ignitis Group) – as a member of the Group's Management Board, as well as in the boards and supervisory boards of subsidiaries. Since 2018, he has been ESO’s board chairman and CEO. M. Keizeris has graduated from Vilnius University with a degree in Business Administration and Management, a Master’s degree in International Business, and has completed the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance training programme for professional board members.

The Board of Litgrid, which started working in 2020, has 4 members elected for a term of office of 4 years.

EPSO-G group consists of the management company EPSO-G, the companies Litgrid, Amber Grid, Baltpool, Energy cells and Tetas, and the indirectly controlled GET Baltic. The rights and obligations of the sole shareholder of EPSO-G are implemented by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania.
