Principles and directions for the Group's sustainability governance We have set out key directions covering the following sustainability topics:  

• Climate: Mitigating climate change by reducing GHG emissions across the value chain;  
• Nature: Reducing impacts on the environment, biodiversity and resource use;
• Health and Safety: Creating a positive culture and a safe and accident-free working environment;
• People and communities: Fostering a culture of diversity, equality and inclusion, and promoting responsible relations with communities;
• Governance: Ensuring a sustainable supply chain and sustainable finance. 

These areas contribute to the Global Sustainable Development Goals as well as create long-term value for both our organisation and the Group's stakeholders.

*The Group’s commitment to achieve a net-zero GHG emissions balance by 2050 includes targets and measures related to the reduction of Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions. In 2025, action guidelines were established under which more detailed Scope 3 GHG emissions calculations will be carried out in the coming years and potential reduction measures will be modelled through to 2050. This course of action is also linked to governance measures related to the engagement of operational partners in achieving the Group’s targets. 

** The commitments were approved following the update of the Group’s business strategy in 2024; therefore, no historical or reporting period metric values have been established for these commitments (n/a). In 2026–2027, detailed action plans will be prepared for the implementation of these commitments and, based on analysis-driven information, strategic metric values for the coming years will be established.
